Raw Garden is a vegetarian & vegan restaurant located in the heard of the city centre on the Skolas 12 street.

Guys of the Raw Garden believe that the healthy food is a source of a genuine energy and are passionate to offer nutritious vegetable cuisine, fruit and berry cocktails and tea selections with healthy confectioneries and other healthy products from their own production across all restaurants and stores. They do not used food additives, preservatives, trans fats, white flour and sugar containing products and have a wide range of gluten-free products as well.

At Raw Garden, they invite you to enjoy our vegetarian menu from the most nutritionally rich products, created with innovative methods. Every day from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, they serve healthy lunch options. Freshly squeezed juices and healthy smoothies are always available then.

They are also quite famous for their wide selection of fresh juices and a wide range of smoothies (fruit-berry, green and superfoods), and also offer wheat grass and ginger shots, which are a very concentrated form of natural energy.

Highly recommended to try out is their range of teas: Matcha Tea, Matcha Latte and Matcha Cocktails. Matcha Tea is the Queen of green tea – the highest quality tea from Japan that gives you sustainable energy and is a great alternative to coffee.

And finally, their stores – at Skolas 12, the 2nd floor of SPICE Shopping Centre or online store.thebeginnings.lv allow you to find whole range of products produced by health food brand The Beginnings. Each shop also stocks wide range of nutritionally rich “superfoods” and specialised kitchen appliances (blenders, juicers, driers) so that you can prepare healthy food at yours.

Steph, our guide, was absolutely brilliant. Picked us up from our hotel and told us all about Riga on the commute to and from the bobsleigh track. The g-force bobsleigh was amazing (it feels like a roller-coaster) and we didn't have to wait long. There's also an observation deck where you can view the national park.
The only downside was an error by the office staff overcharging us for the experience, which put a downer on the day, as I was told I wasn't able to do the bobsleigh unless we paid more. This was eventually resolved by the owner when he apologised for the error and confirmed no further payment was needed. I advise you pay the balance in full before the trip to avoid incompetent staff trying to overcharge you.
