Flyboard / Hoverboard (or also known somewhere as a Water Jetpack) is a crazy and fantastic flying board device for fans of extreme summer entertainment and recreation. It allows you to hover over the water, dive, and surf, as well as perform acrobatic stunts powered by a water motorcycle (hydro cycle, or Jetski) that cannot be performed on the ground. Flyboarding combines a mix of adrenaline parachute, snowboard, water skiing, and much more. In order not to enumerate endlessly, we advise you to try this very breathtaking unit yourself.

Learning to fly a Flyboard can be incredibly fast since the principle of its control is similar to an ordinary walking. It is difficult to convey the admiration and surprise of people when you are from the water level, in a matter of seconds you rise sharply above the water to a height of 10 meters! In these moments, you can feel like a superhero or an Iron Man, hovering over amazed spectators.

The creator of this original, spellbinding device is Frank Zapata, champion of France in water skiing. While engaging in aquabike, he decided to create a unique apparatus for extreme sports, allowing him to perform acrobatic tricks, climb into the air, swim and dive like a dolphin.

Steph, our guide, was absolutely brilliant. Picked us up from our hotel and told us all about Riga on the commute to and from the bobsleigh track. The g-force bobsleigh was amazing (it feels like a roller-coaster) and we didn't have to wait long. There's also an observation deck where you can view the national park.
The only downside was an error by the office staff overcharging us for the experience, which put a downer on the day, as I was told I wasn't able to do the bobsleigh unless we paid more. This was eventually resolved by the owner when he apologised for the error and confirmed no further payment was needed. I advise you pay the balance in full before the trip to avoid incompetent staff trying to overcharge you.
