Cinema Bar is a quiet and relatively low-cost bar located right in the heart of the Riga Old Town on Kaleju street where you can enjoy good atmosphere, nice music and drinks on your night out.

This is a movie-themed bar with loads of movie posters and one of the lowest price tags for drinks in town, which makes it quite similar to another legendary place around the corner French Bar. The beer price is about 2 EUR for a pint.

Opening hours from 18:00 till 06:00 every day also make it an ultimate stop in the Old Town even if you are to Riga on working days. The only thing that makes it slightly uncomfortable is “cash-only” payment method, so make sure you have some before stepping inside.

Steph, our guide, was absolutely brilliant. Picked us up from our hotel and told us all about Riga on the commute to and from the bobsleigh track. The g-force bobsleigh was amazing (it feels like a roller-coaster) and we didn't have to wait long. There's also an observation deck where you can view the national park.
The only downside was an error by the office staff overcharging us for the experience, which put a downer on the day, as I was told I wasn't able to do the bobsleigh unless we paid more. This was eventually resolved by the owner when he apologised for the error and confirmed no further payment was needed. I advise you pay the balance in full before the trip to avoid incompetent staff trying to overcharge you.
