Riga Snowmobile Safari is the ultimate adventure while cruising through the snowy tracks of Latvian forests, while winter is a perfect season to explore the untouched natural beauty of Latvian countryside. These powerful machines can certainly offer a new kind of action-experience for the adrenaline rush and your winter adventure while overtaking some of the obstacles on your way!

Winter is also great timing to try the snowmobile driving for novice drivers, hence make sure you don’t miss an opportunity for this wonderful experience for a group of friends.

Before each ride, you will get instruction on the snowmobile operation and understand the snowy tracks. Then a few minutes driving on the field to get to know driving techniques and you are ready to head into the woods. This will be followed by a 15km track through the forest, taking around 1.5 hours and including a few photos stops on the way.

Your instructor will be taking the lead and driving first, while other snowmobiles will follow one by one, keeping 10 to 15 m distance. Please note, that there can be 2 of you on each machine, and there will be also a chance to swap at a few stops on track. This way both people will have a chance to take the lead by the steering wheel. During the ride, you will have an opportunity to cross a few narrow bridges over the river and even the ice-free river itself by driving through the water. We will provide you with a safety helmet, but please take very warm winter clothing with you as it can be very cold while driving. At the end of the ride, you will have a light lunch in the country house with a hot bowl of soup to warm you up.

Please note

– Only two (2) snowmobiles can be provided, so a number of 4 people maximum can go on a track at a time.
– The chance to drive snowmobiles is available throughout the duration Latvian winter which typically goes until late March, but may vary depending on the temperature.
– Solid snow layer is required for a ride, as snow also acts as a cooling element for the machine

Please have some warm clothing (hat, socks, jacket, pants) and gloves on you.
