Donegan’s Pub is one of the first and oldest pubs in Riga. Anything that creates that “pub” feeling like pales, British and Irish tourists, loud chatter and laughter and of course Football is there.

You can watch other sports (like so popular in Latvia Ice Hockey) on several big TV screens, listen to Live music, get yourself a pint of Guinness as well as other good local and imported brews.

Food menu is a classic British pub food in its full glory, potato chips, burgers, “Fish and Chips”, “Buffalo wings” and of course big English Breakfast in the morning!

They also have a bit of a behind area with several comfy booths for a private chat. If you have a laptop then enjoy a free WIFi to browse the web.

This is a definitely a good place to meet foreigners, backpackers and tourists, and vibe is always positive. Prices are definitely not low, however not too bad, bearing in mind that you are in the heard of the Old Town, where price levels are typically higher than everywhere else in Riga.

Steph, our guide, was absolutely brilliant. Picked us up from our hotel and told us all about Riga on the commute to and from the bobsleigh track. The g-force bobsleigh was amazing (it feels like a roller-coaster) and we didn't have to wait long. There's also an observation deck where you can view the national park.
The only downside was an error by the office staff overcharging us for the experience, which put a downer on the day, as I was told I wasn't able to do the bobsleigh unless we paid more. This was eventually resolved by the owner when he apologised for the error and confirmed no further payment was needed. I advise you pay the balance in full before the trip to avoid incompetent staff trying to overcharge you.
